Islamabad, Aug 5, 2025: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that it has received more than 455,000 applications for Hajj 2026 under the official government scheme.

This year, pilgrims can choose between two plans: a long-duration package (lasting 38 to 42 days) and a short–duration package (ranging from 20 to 25 days). To help reduce the financial pressure, the authorities will collect the Hajj 2026 cost in two installments.

Those selecting the longer plan must first submit Rs. 500,000, while short-stay applicants are required to pay Rs. 550,000 as the first payment. The second payment is set to be received in November 2025.

Out of the total quota, 119,000 places are reserved for the government-run program, and an additional 60,000 are allocated to private tour organizers.
