Islamabad, 16 April 2025: Hasan Ali has called for patience with Babar Azam, urging fans and critics alike to support the star batter during a difficult run in PSL.
After Karachi’s loss to Lahore Qalandars on Monday, Hasan downplayed concerns over Babar’s form and highlighted his value to both team and country.
The seasoned pacer noted that while Babar may be struggling at the moment, he remains Pakistan’s top batter and is expected to regain form soon.
Referring to previous praise he had given the former captain, the right-arm pacer said he stood by his belief that the batter would come good again.

He added that if anyone had taken offence to his earlier comments describing Babar as “the king”, he apologized, but reiterated his unwavering support.
Reflecting on Karachi Kings’ loss, Hasan admitted the team’s top-order collapse was to blame.
According to experienced fast bowler, the early dismissals disrupted the rhythm and the side couldn’t recover from the mounting pressure.
The 30-year-old also spoke candidly about the intense criticism players face, particularly on social media.
While he acknowledged that constructive criticism is part of the game, he condemned personal attacks, especially those involving players’ families.

Citing incidents from the white-ball tour of the Men in Green to New Zealand earlier this year, he said such behavior takes a toll on players mentally.
Hasan, who last played for Pakistan in May 2024, reaffirmed his desire to represent the country again.
He expressed confidence in his fitness and form, adding that strong performances in the PSL would determine his path back into the national squad.
A 2017 Champions Trophy winner, Hasan remains active in domestic cricket, promoting unity and resilience amid public criticism.
