The water gauge at Head Muhammad Wala flood site has reached 413.66 feet, edging closer to the critical danger level of 417 feet. Authorities remain on high alert as the river’s flow continues to increase, raising concerns of possible overflow in the coming hours.
According to the latest update, technical teams are closely monitoring the water level at Head Muhammad Wala. Any decision regarding the barrage will be made after assessing the speed and pressure of the flood wave along with other technical factors. Emergency surveillance has been activated to ensure timely response to any worsening situation.
Relief operations are also in full swing. Several flood relief camps have been set up where displaced families are receiving food, clean drinking water, shelter, and medical assistance. District administration teams are striving to provide three meals a day and basic amenities for all those who seek refuge in the camps.

However, the number of people in these camps continues to change with weather conditions, as many affected families choose to stay with relatives instead.
