Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Syed Mustafa Kamal, stated that false claims were being spread regarding the cervical cancer vaccination.

While addressing reporters at the Drugs Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) office on Saturday, he emphasized that this vaccine is crucial in protecting young girls from the risk of cervical cancer.

Highlighting his personal commitment, Kamal shared that he ensured his own daughter received the cervical cancer vaccination the same day.

He added that he values the daughters of the entire nation as much as his own child, which is why the government is determined to promote awareness and protect future generations through timely immunization.
