Islamabad, Sep 14: Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Forecast Across Pakistan
While majority of Sindh’s districts will likely see hot, dry weather, other parts of the nation may see unpredictable weather. Karachi and the other coastal regions of Sindh are predicted to continue to have some cloud cover.
Important regions of northern Punjab, such as Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Mianwali, are expected to have rain, and Sargodha, Khushab, and Talagang may see showers. Rain is also anticipated in other areas, including Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Mandi Bahauddin.
It is probable that Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur, Sahiwal, Toba Tek Singh, and Jhang will have more showers and thunder. Certain areas of south Punjab, such as DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Layyah, and Bhakkar, may get rain.
Strong gusts, thunderstorms, and heavy rain and hail are also predicted by the weather service for Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Showers are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Balakot, and Buner in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Thunderstorms are also anticipated to hit Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, and DI Khan.
Strong winds and rain are predicted for Zhob, Barkhan, Dera Bugti, Loralai, and Qila Saifullah in Balochistan.
Residents in the impacted areas have been advised by the Met Department to take preventative action in case of potentially dangerous weather.
