Due to heavy rainfall in everal districts of Balochistan, including Zhob, Sherani, Dera Bugti, Nasirabad, Bolan, Harnai, Khuzdar, Loralai, Barkhan, and Musakhail, road links to other provinces have been disrupted.
The Quetta-Zhob-D.I. Khan N-50 Highway, which was closed on Sunday due to heavy boulders from a landslide in Sherani district, has partially reopened.
However, further landslides are anticipated in the Koh-i-Suleman mountain range due to ongoing rainfall, posing additional challenges to road clearance efforts.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has issued forecasts of continued heavy rainfall across northern and central Balochistan, urging district authorities to take preventive measures to safeguard roads, settlements, and lives.
