Hein Boele (Zwolle, 1939) trained at the Maastricht Drama School at the beginning of the 1960s. He then joined the most famous theater companies like De Nederlandse Comedie, Ensemble and Studio. He is a common face in popular series on the television such as De fabriek, Oppassen!!!, Toen was geluk heel gewoon and Goede tijden, slechte tijden.
He was also an actor in Germany, who played in the crime drama Tatort, a series that lasted long. His last main TV appearance was in De Luizenmoeder in 2019. As much as he had a reputation as an actor, his biggest fame was as a voice artist.
He brought to life such treasured Muppets as Elmo, Jiminy Cricket and Rabbit of Winnie the Pooh. He was the voice in several characters in DuckTales. He appeared as Grandpa Joe in Tim Burton Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and provided the Dutch voice of Professor Horace Slughorn, in the Harry Potter films.

Outside of film and television, since 1996, the voice of Boele has been heard in the Efteling theme park in the attraction Villa Volta. Later he narrated Museum Geelvinck projects in Amsterdam. Even at the later years, he took young performers under his guidance.
Boele also spent over half a century of his life in companionship with his husband former-broadcaster Tom Meijer of Wereldomroep. It was on August 2 that his funeral was conducted. The legacy Heinrich became Leave Boele boasts of more than 60 years in theater, television as well as voice work.
