Islamabad 30: HMD’s Flagship Grade “Moon Knight” Phone Coming Soon
The company behind Nokia phones, HMD Global, mostly focuses on mid-range smartphones.
New leaks and rumors suggest that HMD now is working on a flagship-grade phone. The device is rumored to be called the HMD “Moon Knight”.
The HMD Moon Knight (model TA-1691) is rumored to include a 1080p P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, though the exact size of the screen hasn’t been disclosed.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, a slightly toned-down version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Despite this, the chip is expected to deliver performance levels similar to last year’s top processors, such as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
This design introduces an entirely new level of customization and functionality. The phone could feature cases with additional functions and other attachable accessories. It is also speculated to include a dual speaker system and an aluminum frame.
However, no information has been leaked regarding battery capacity, charging speeds, or memory configurations.
The 144Hz refresh rate on the P-OLED display is another standout feature. While many flagships cap out at 120Hz, HMD is pushing the envelope for an even smoother visual experience.
