Islamabad, Aug 29: An update for its well-liked Civic model has been announced by Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited. The Civic’s Oriel and RS versions will now have wireless charging available, the firm announced in a social media post.
Customers were urged by the corporation to “charge up with convenience and style” and visit their local Honda 3S dealership for additional information. The most recent improvement may be something to think about for anyone seeking a new Honda Civic.
Mobile phone charging while driving is hassle-free thanks to the recently included wireless charging option in the Oriel and RS models. The additional cost for this update has not yet been disclosed by the corporation, although more information is anticipated shortly.
The base model of the 11th generation Honda Civic, which was priced at PKR 50.99 lac, the Oriel version at PKR 53.99 lac, and the premium RS variant at PKR 61.49 lac, were the three variants available when it was introduced in Pakistan in 2022. However, the prices have almost doubled as a result of higher taxes, the weakening of the Pakistani rupee relative to the US currency, and other economic factors.
Because of its high price, the car became the least popular Civic in Pakistan over the 30-year history of the brand. From March 2022 to December 2022, Honda sold 5,693 Civics. But in 2023, sales fell off dramatically, with a total of just 1,967 units sold.
