Islamabad, May 31, 2025: Manchester United defeated Hong Kong with a 3-1 on Friday in Hong Kong vs Man United postseason friendly match and finished with a close win.

Hong Kong went ahead after 20 minutes thanks to a goal from former Rangers winger Juninho and surprised the visitors by taking the lead.

However, things changed after the break for United as Chido Obi equalized shortly and scored a second in the 82nd minute to put his side ahead. Ayden Heaven added third goal in stoppage time, ensuring the English side ended their tour with a win.

This development comes after Ruben Amorim’s side were booed off the pitch following a 1-0 defeat to ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

But even with the win, much of the focus remains on off-field developments instead of Hong Kong vs Man United. There is uncertainty regarding the futures of Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho, with growing speculation that the pair is considering leaving the club this summer.

Although Manchester United have insisted they won’t entertain offers for Fernandes,, sources have told that Al Hilal and Saudi deal makers believe there is a chance United will accept a mega offer for the 30-year-old.

Meanwhile, talks have surfaced that Garnacho is likely to leave United this summer.
