Islamabad, Aug 12, 2025: The Honor Power made a strong impression when it launched in April, mainly due to its large 8,000 mAh battery. Even now, that battery size stands out among mainstream smartphones, but rivals like Redmi are catching up with similar or slightly bigger capacities. Still, Honor is not backing down in the battery race.
The company is already working on the Honor Power 2, which will feature an incredible 10,000 mAh battery. Rumors first appeared last month, and now new reports from China reveal the phone’s chipset.
It is further expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor, keeping it in the mid-range category. While other details are not yet available, this powerful chip combined with such a huge battery makes the Power 2 a phone to watch.

To remind you, the original Honor Power has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224×2700 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It includes a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide lens, and a 16 MP front camera. Its battery supports 66W fast charging via cable. It will be interesting to see if the Honor Power 2 keeps or improves this charging speed.
