Islamabad, July 31, 2025: A new leak emerging from China indicates that Honor is currently experimenting with a smartphone carrying a gigantic 10,000 mAh battery. While the official name and release timeline remain unconfirmed, it is widely assumed to be the upcoming Honor Power 2.
This follows the earlier debut of the first Honor Power model in April, which boasted a robust 8,000 mAh battery within the mid-range phone segment.
Although further technical details have not surfaced yet, it’s possible that battery capacity could be adjusted during final testing. However, if the full 10,000 mAh cell makes it to the final product, it would mark the largest battery ever introduced in a mainstream smartphone. The Honor Power 2, much like its predecessor, is expected to prioritize extended battery life over high-end specifications or top-tier performance.
Specifications of Honor Power
The initial version of Honor Power was equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen offering a crisp 1224×2700 resolution. It also supported a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and reached an impressive 4,000 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility in sunlight.
Under the hood, it featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor for reliable daily usage. The device was available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations, coupled with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, catering well to users with high media consumption.

Camera-wise, the rear included a 50MP primary lens with optical image stabilization and a 5MP ultrawide camera, while the front packed a 16MP sensor suitable for selfies and video chats.
If Honor sticks to the reported capacity, the Honor Power 2 could potentially set a new benchmark for battery performance in mid-range smartphones.
