Honor’s most recent low-cost offering, the X7c, went live last week and is now officially available. Additional hardware information and a price tag are included in the official announcement.

Design and Display

The screen is built on a 6.77-inch TFT LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 720p resolution. While most smartphones prioritize high peak brightness, the Honor X7c can lower its brightness to as low as 2 nits in low-light conditions. In addition to having IP64 dust and water resistance, the peak nits are 850.

Similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, the selfie camera’s punch-hole may extend inside Honor’s Magic Capsule to display alerts and other information.

Internals and Software

The Snapdragon 685 chipset is located inside, and it has two distinct memory options: 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. A memory card port is not mentioned.

It starts Android 14 and loads MagicOS 8 as software. Since AI functions are typically found on more expensive phones, it’s likely that none are included.

Cameras

Two sensors are part of the main camera arrangement, but the primary shooter is doing the majority of the work here. It has a 2MP depth camera in addition to a 108MP wide-angle sensor built on a 1/1.67′′ sensor. There is a 1080p 30 FPS video recording restriction.

The selfie camera is an 8MP wide-angle shooter which is also capable of 1080p 30 FPS video recording.

Battery and Pricing

With 33W wired charging and 6,000 mAh of capacity, the battery is enormous. Not every country will receive the same 6,000 mAh model, though, as some other locations have a 5,200 mAh battery type instead.

The Honor X7c Price starts at $212 and is available in Forest Green, Midnight Black, and Moonlight White.
