Islamabad, Oct 4: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that hot and dry weather will prevail across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
Most regions are expected to experience high temperatures, with little chance of relief.
However, there may be isolated instances of light rain or thunderstorms in areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa during the evening or nighttime hours.
According to the current synoptic situation, continental air remains dominant in the region. This influence is contributing to the ongoing hot and dry weather conditions across much of the country.
In the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather was observed throughout most areas, with Dadu recorded as the hottest city, reaching temperatures as high as 45 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
