Islamabad, June 16, 2025: If you’re planning to travel for Umrah, remember that a confirmed hotel booking is now essential for your visa. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is implementing this new rule through the “Nusuk Masar” platform.
Starting June 10, 2025, international pilgrims must show proof of their hotel booking for Umrah on “Nusuk Masar” to get their visa. Travel agencies must use officially licensed hotels, and these hotel booking details must be entered into the system.

This change aims to protect pilgrims by ensuring quality and preventing fraud. By requiring a documented hotel booking, the ministry aims to avoid issues with accommodation.
