Islamabad, June 6, 2025: The highly awaited comedy entertainer has finally hit theatres today, June 6, and is already making waves with a massive box office opening. According to reports, Housefull 5 box office collection is around 23 crore on its first day.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film has big names like Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa.
Housefull 5 marks Akshay Kumar’s third release of the year, following Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2. The multi-starrer has generated strong early momentum, with industry trackers suggesting it may become Kumar’s highest-grossing post-COVID release.
Advance booking figures have also impressed, with the housefull 5 box office collection reaching 2.15 crore ahead of its release day and selling over 70,000 tickets across more than 10,000 shows nationwide. Including blocked seats, the advance collection reached 5.7 crore beating Akshay’s previous best of 5.35 crore for Sooryavanshi.

If current projections hold, Housefull 5 is on track to beat both Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2 in terms of box office performance. Produced on a budget of 225 crore, the film is launched across more than 5,000 screens across India.

Running for over 15 years, the Housefull franchise has consistently drawn crowds. While Housefull 4 held the record for the biggest debut in the series, Housefull 5 is now tipped to surpass it and claim the title of the biggest opener of the year.
