ISLAMABAD JULY27: The social media site X, which was once known as Twitter, has surreptitiously turned on a feature that lets it train its artificial intelligence model, Grok, with user data. The good news is that switching it off is simple.
But this setting is only accessible to X Premium subscribers, as Grok is only available to paying customers.
X may leverage user postings, interactions, and chats with Grok to enhance the AI’s skills if this parameter is enabled. Although it can only be accessed online, users can disable this feature.
The business has made it clear that user data may be sent to xAI, its AI affiliate. This development has drawn criticism from users and raises questions regarding data protection.
