Islamabad, Jan 29: The Punjab government has introduced the ‘Nigahban Ramzan Relief Package’ to support families facing financial challenges during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative is designed to assist those in need by offering financial relief. To benefit from this program, citizens must complete their registration by February 15, 2025. The registration process is streamlined through various channels, including an online portal, Union Councils, and local municipal offices.
Individuals can register for the relief package using the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER) portal at pser.punjab.gov.pk, visiting local Union Councils, or municipal offices. A dedicated helpline, 0800-02345, is available for any support or inquiries during the registration process.

To qualify for the Nigahban Ramzan Relief Package, applicants must meet specific criteria. First, they need to be registered with the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). The program prioritizes families with low incomes or those experiencing financial hardships. Additionally, applicants must provide required documents such as the CNIC of the family head, proof of income (if applicable), and proof of residence in Punjab.
There are two ways to register for the relief package:
- In-person registration: Citizens can visit over 4,000 Union Councils and local government offices across Punjab to complete their registration.
- Online registration: The official PSER portal allows applicants to fill out an online form, upload documents, and submit their application.
