Huawei has officially launched the Mate XTs, an updated version of its revolutionary tri-fold smartphone. The device retains its iconic folding design but introduces performance upgrades, new camera features, and fresh color options, making it one of the most advanced foldable phones in the world.
Design and Display
The Huawei Mate XTs features a massive 10.2-inch LTPO OLED display with 3K resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits peak brightness. Its unique 16:11 aspect ratio allows three apps to run side by side, while stylus support adds versatility for professionals and creatives.

Despite its size, the phone is incredibly slim at 3.8mm unfolded and 12.8mm folded, weighing just 298g. Huawei is offering the Mate XTs in black, red, purple, and white.

Under the hood, the new Kirin 9020 chipset delivers 36% faster performance compared to last year’s Kirin 9010. Every variant comes with 16GB RAM, while storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The device runs HarmonyOS 5.1, optimized for multitasking on foldable screens.
Cameras
Huawei has boosted its camera system with a 40MP ultrawide sensor, joining the 50MP variable aperture main camera and a 12MP periscope lens with 5.5x optical zoom. This triple-lens setup promises better low-light photography, improved zoom, and wider shots for landscape and group photos.
Battery and Charging
The Mate XTs is powered by a 5,600 mAh battery, supporting:
- 66W wired charging
- 50W wireless charging
- 7.5W reverse wireless charging
This ensures all-day use despite the large foldable display.

Huawei has announced three storage variants:
- 256GB – $2,520
- 512GB – $2,800
- 1TB – $3,080
The Huawei Mate XTs is currently available in China, while global availability has yet to be confirmed.
