The temporary suspension of electricity is necessary to ensure the safe execution of technical maintenance and system improvements.

Furthermore, a longer power outage is also scheduled for several localities beginning early Friday morning.

According to IESCO, the electricity supply to Khunda, Gaggan, Mianwala, and Noorpur feeders, along with nearby areas, will remain disrupted from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

These areas are expected to experience a nine-hour power suspension due to extensive routine maintenance work.

The electricity utility company has urged residents and businesses in the affected regions to make necessary arrangements in advance.

The company also reassured consumers that all technical teams will actively complete the work within the allotted time to minimize inconvenience.

IESCO continues to take proactive steps to strengthen its power infrastructure and reduce unexpected outages in the future.

Regular maintenance, the company notes, is vital to sustaining a stable and uninterrupted electricity supply, especially in high-demand zones.

Citizens are advised to stay updated via IESCO’s official channels for real-time alerts and any changes in the maintenance schedule.

The company has apologized for any discomfort caused and appreciates public cooperation as it works to deliver better services.
