ISLAMABAD, JULY15: The CEO of the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), Dr. Muhammad Amjad, has guaranteed that the organization will have extensive plans in place to provide a seamless and continuous power supply during the Ashura days.
Dr. Amjad declared in a statement made public on Sunday that all six Operation Circles and the head office now have Monitoring Control Rooms. He said that field formations continue to work closely with police, administrative committees, and district administration.According to Dr. Amjad, the organization has information on the sites of Imam Bargah and possible routes for the mourning march. Along these routes, all transformers and electrical lines have been updated and balanced.
Extra transformers, wires, meters, and other supplies have been sent to field offices in case of crises. Additionally, he mentioned that line employees with the required tools and equipment will be present throughout the big mourning processions, and transformer trolleys will be available at the pertinent complaint offices. At the central control center in Islamabad, a group headed by Chief Engineer Operations Muhammad Aslam Khan would directly supervise all other tasks in addition to continuously monitoring the supply, demand, and continuity of power at 1,344 feeders and 114 grid stations.
