Since its inception in 2018, the DigiSkills initiative has empowered over four million learners across 300 cities in Pakistan. Developed through a collaboration between Ignite and the Virtual University of Pakistan, this program has significantly contributed to the IT industry by creating a workforce well-versed in modern technological trends and the shifting landscape of the global freelancing market.
DigiSkills.pk, the dedicated platform for this training initiative, stands as Pakistan’s most extensive online learning hub, offering certified courses in collaboration with the Virtual University.
A major highlight of DigiSkills.pk is its focus on female empowerment. More than 800,000 women have benefited from the program since 2018, reducing the gender disparity in the digital employment sector.
By ensuring equal access to training, the initiative has enabled a greater number of women to explore opportunities in freelancing and the broader IT industry.
