Islamabad, May 23, 2025: The Islamabad High Court on Thursday stopped the private housing society Park View City from demanding extra development charges from plot holders, sources reported.
Justice Inam Amin Minhas of the IHC, while hearing the case, issued a notice to Aleem Khan, the owner of the society, directing him to submit a response within ten days. The court also requested the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to provide the sanctioned layout plan of the society.
The petition was filed by Qasim Chatha along with other allotters, challenging the notice served for collecting additional development fees on plots. The court issued a stay order to the extent of the petitioners on the notice to collect additional charges on the plots from the allottees.
Raja Zeeshan Khan Advocate represented the petitioners in court.

According to the filed petition, the society is asking for extra development payments from individuals already allotted plots. The written order stated this claim.
The lawyer argued that the notice regarding the added charges is unlawful and amounts to intimidation of the allottees. The court has issued notices to the concerned parties and postponed the hearing until June 3.
