Islamabad, May 22, 2025: The Jinnah Square Murree Road Underpass Project in Islamabad has been completed in a record 35 days, with final touches underway. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to formally inaugurate the project tomorrow.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site on Sunday to inspect the finishing work and issued instructions to wrap up all remaining tasks by tonight. He made it clear that no compromise would be made on the quality of construction.

Minister Naqvi directed authorities to ensure both sides of the underpass are landscaped and decorated with plants to enhance its appearance. He said the project would bring major relief to commuters, especially those traveling towards the motorway and Murree, while also helping Islamabad residents enjoy a smooth, signal-free route.
