Islamabad, June 25, 2025 – inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, has officially become the top-ranked app in Pakistan’s “Maps & Navigation” category on the Google Play Store. The company also secured the number one spot in the “Travel” category on Apple’s App Store, marking a significant milestone in the country’s dynamic ride-hailing landscape.

Launched in Pakistan in 2021, inDrive now operates in over 20 cities, distinguishing itself with a unique peer-to-peer pricing model. This innovative approach allows riders and drivers to directly negotiate fares, moving away from traditional surge-based algorithms.

“Our model resonates because it puts people first – they decide the price, not an algorithm,” stated Awais Saeed, Country Manager for inDrive Pakistan. He attributes the platform’s growth largely to organic adoption and expansion into underserved areas.

Saeed also highlighted upcoming investments in social impact programs, including support for drivers’ families and the planned onboarding of women drivers.

inDrive’s rise reflects a growing demand for affordability, transparency, and rider autonomy in Pakistan’s urban centers.

Beyond ride-hailing, the platform offers diverse services such as courier, freight delivery, city-to-city travel, and B2B solutions.

Globally, inDrive continues its impressive trajectory, holding its position as the second-most downloaded ride-hailing app worldwide for the third consecutive year and ranking fifth in the global travel app category.
