Instagram has launched a new Watch History feature for Reels, giving users an easy way to find videos they have already watched.
The update helps people rediscover reels they forgot to save or could not locate later.
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said the Instagram watch history feature was added to make it simpler for users to go back and view content they enjoyed. To use it, people can go to Profile- Settings- Your Activity- Watch History, where all recently viewed Reels are shown.
Unlike other platforms, Instagram’s Watch History also lets users filter videos by date, such as by week or month, and even delete specific clips. Viewers can also sort their Reels in different ways, by time, order, or creator.
