Islamabad, Nov 27: Internet Disruptions Persist in Pakistan as PTA Remains Silent. Internet services across the country remain partially disrupted, causing widespread inconvenience to users. Residents in various cities are experiencing difficulties with browsing, downloading, and accessing popular social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
Even with VPN services, the performance of these applications remains sluggish.The disruption has significantly impacted multiple sectors, including businesses, education, and online services. Users have reported delays in completing tasks and maintaining communications which has made daily lives a challenge.
According to sources who spoke to Media, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) firewall may be the cause of the social networking programs’ lag. The PTA hasn’t officially clarified the situation or acknowledged the inconvenience, though.
After cutting off access in some places for security reasons, the government yesterday resumed internet service in cities like Rawalpindi and Islamabad. People all throughout the nation are now anxiously awaiting word from the government on a solution.
