Islamabad, Aug 15, 2025: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a groundbreaking internship program for veterinary graduates, marking a historic step for the province’s livestock and veterinary sector. With an investment of Rs. 60 crore, this initiative aims to provide hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities for young veterinarians.

Under this program, veterinary graduates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000, while Para-Veterinarians (Para-Vets) will earn Rs. 40,000 per month. The program will cover 10 districts across Punjab, ensuring a wide reach and accessibility for qualified candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age limit: Maximum 25 years for Vets and 20 years for Para-Vets
  • Educational requirement: Degree from a recognized veterinary institution
  • Domicile: Candidate must be a resident of Punjab
  • Para-Vets: Must have 2 years of experience in a recognized institution
  • Applicants must hold a valid blood card

Application Procedure:
Interested candidates can apply online by filling out the form at www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk. The last date to submit applications is 31 August 2025.
