JPMorgan latest analysis shows that the next iPhone 17 line-up only has one product whose price will certainly rise, and this is the iPhone 17 Pro.
It will start at $1,099, a $100 increase over the iPhone 16 Pro but with a significantly better base storage capacity 256 GB, rather than 128 GB, so the price increase is more a matter of value readjustment than an absolute rise in price.
The remainder of the series is estimated to stay relatively the same in price. The regular iPhone 17 will stay at $799 just like the previous year base model, and the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be priced at $1,199. The new iPhone 17 Air could be sold at a price of between $899 and $949, with no price rise or even a slight price rise of $50.

This pricing strategy will have the iPhone 17 Pro as the Apple flagship product with additional store value, and most of the models will remain affordable. It’s a smart commercial play, encouraging upgrades to Pro without widening the cost gap across the lineup.
Overall, it is only the iPhone 17 Pro that is set to have an increase in price, but only due to higher base storage and higher-end positioning.
