Apple’s highly awaited September 2025 event is expected to take place on September 9, and tech enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement. The spotlight will undoubtedly be on the iPhone 17 lineup, alongside major updates for the Apple Watch and AirPods. This year, Apple might even surprise fans with its slimmest iPhone ever, rumored to be called the iPhone Air.
iPhone 17 Series: Big Redesigns Ahead
The iPhone 17 is said to bring a major design refresh, drawing closer to the Pro family in terms of features. Reports hint at a 6.3-inch 120Hz display, a 24MP front camera, and striking new shades like purple and green. The iPhone 17 Pro could adopt a bold new rectangular camera bar across the back, while shifting from titanium to lightweight aluminum. Exclusive color options like dark blue and copper are also on the cards.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro Max may sport a slightly thicker body to house a larger battery, improving performance and durability. Pricing is rumored to start at $800 for iPhone 17, $1,050 for Pro, and $1,250 for Pro Max. Apple may also reduce storage tiers, with the Pro series reportedly beginning at 256GB instead of 128GB.
iPhone Air: The Thinnest iPhone Ever
Apple could replace the Plus model with the all-new iPhone Air, designed to be the thinnest iPhone yet at just 5.5mm—even slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Expected to feature a 6.6-inch display, a single rear lens, and possibly no bottom speaker, it may instead rely solely on the top earpiece.
With a starting price near $950, the iPhone Air could launch in black, silver, and light gold. Analysts believe this model will lay the groundwork for Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone in 2026.

Advanced health tracking such as blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea detection are rumored, though some features may roll out later.
The Apple Watch Series 11 could inherit several premium upgrades, while the budget-friendly SE 3 might receive modest changes, possibly a larger display or even a plastic version. Prices are expected at $250 (SE 3), $400 (Series 11), and $800 (Ultra 3).
AirPods Pro 3: Smarter and Sleeker
Finally, the AirPods Pro 3 are tipped to launch with a redesigned slimmer case, compact earbuds, touch-sensitive controls, and a powerful H3 chip for improved noise cancellation and adaptive audio.
