ISLAMABAD, JULY21: New evidence from China suggests that Apple’s affordable model, the iPhone SE 4, may take a different route than earlier reports indicating that it would have the same design as the iPhone 14.
According to a well-known Chinese social media tipster on Weibo, Fixed Focus Digital, the next iPhone SE 4 will have a back cover that is similar to the ordinary iPhone 16, making it challenging to tell the two phones apart from the back.
This implies that the iPhone SE will eventually be significantly larger, allowing for a larger screen and battery. Additionally, additional room facilitates simpler cooling, which is beneficial for more than just gaming. There is still uncertainty around the iPhone SE 4’s camera system design. Early reports showed a single camera set inside a notch in the display, but new information points to a possible redesign.
Given that the iPhone 16 is reported to include a twin camera system arranged vertically, it’s possible that the iPhone SE 4 will follow suit. Higher image quality can be achieved by fitting larger camera sensors into a larger phone. Larger sensors have the capacity to capture and analyze more light from the lens. Larger pixels with a wider color and shade range can be captured as a result.
However, the cost of all these improvements would also be called into question, given that earlier iPhone SE versions were significantly less expensive than the current iPhone lineup. We’ll have to hold off and see. The iPhone SE 4 is predicted to be on sale in March of the following year, while Apple is slated to reveal the iPhone 16 series in September.
