Islamabad, June 23, 2025: Iran’s military says it has attacked what it calls United States military bases in Qatar, Iraq, and Kuwait. This big step, called “Operation Bashr O,l Fateh” (Operation Herald of Victory), happened after Qatar stopped its air traffic and Iran warned it would strike back for recent US and Israeli attacks on its nuclear sites.
Iranian state TV reported that a top military official said they used missiles and drones in the attacks. The official stated these strikes were aimed at places where US soldiers and equipment are kept. Iran did not say exactly where these places were in Qatar, Iraq, or Kuwait.
So far, the United States, Qatar, Iraq, or Kuwait have not said anything about these claimed attacks. However, there have been some reports of loud blasts and more military activity in parts of these areas, but it’s not confirmed if these are linked to Iran’s claims to their operation Bashr Ol Fateh.
