According to the notice, the directive has been circulated to all relevant federal ministries, departments, and media platforms to inform the public.
This notification is a double excitement for citizens as residents will also benefit from an additional holiday on Thursday, August 14, 2025, for Pakistan’s Independence Day. This arrangement effectively grants two consecutive days off, giving the city a midweek holiday stretch.
