Islamabad, July 23, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday launched “Police Station on Wheels”, making police services easier to access. This project was introduced during his visit to the Safe City Capital Command and Control Centre in Islamabad.
These mobile police stations are meant to help people, especially senior citizens to get basic police services without visiting regular police stations. Islamabad Police Chief Ali Nasir Rizvi said that these mobile vans will allow people, mainly those above 60 years of age, to file FIRs and get driving licences on the spot.
