ISLAMABAD, June 1, 2025: During Eid-ul-Adha, a strict ban has been imposed aerial firing, rioting, and one-wheeling in Islamabad. Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Jawad Tariq has warned that special police teams will be deployed in public parks and other public places to ensure these bans are not violated.

He warned that there will be a crackdown on these activities and those found violating the ban will be dealt with accordingly.

He also said that vehicle, motorcycle and foot patrols have been deployed around the markets for Eid. Security will remain alert in the entire district on the night before Eid and all three days of Eid, the police official added.

DIG Islamabad said that the capital city police is ensuring best security arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha.

Police help desks have been set up in six livestock markets in Islamabad, he said, adding that these desks will immediately resolve traffic problems, fraud or other complaints.

In his statement on Eid-ul-Adha security arrangements, the DIG said that special desks have also been set up in the markets to facilitate citizens and to ensure their safety during Eid celebrations.

Citizens are also requested to cooperate with the police, and any suspicious activity should be immediately reported on the Islamabad Police helpline, ‘Pukaar’ 15.
