The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has announced the closure of several popular hiking trails in the Margalla Hills following heavy rainfall.
According to a notification issued by the office of the District Magistrate on Monday, Trail 2, Trail 3, Trail 4, Trail 5, and the trail behind Saidpur Village have been shut down effective September 1, 2025.

The step has been taken to ensure the safety of citizens, including hikers and visitors, as recent rains have made the tracks slippery and dangerous. The trails will remain closed until further orders.
Authorities urged the public to follow the advisory and avoid visiting the closed areas until conditions improve.
