The construction and renovation of law enforcement facilities in nine major localities of the Islamabad city have officially been tendered by the Capital Development Authority (CDA). This relocation is, in part, to modernize security infrastructure and have officers and the people working in better environments.

Raja Khurram Nawaz, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Interior of the National Assembly was very crucial to the development of this project. The fact that reconstruction of these police outposts which was long overdue will finally be implemented with full government support can be attributed to his persistent endeavors.

The amenities of this development plan are in Khanna, Korala, Karpa, Loha Bher, Phulgran, Humak, Nilor, Sangjani, and Shams Colony. These locations are of high priority because of high operation and the population increase demands.

CDA has stated that tender will also be kept open between 22nd September and 26th September 2025. Immediately after the legal process is through, construction activities on the new buildings will commence. This project will also increase the value of real estate in the neighboring regions as well as provide business prospects in contracting and the suppliers.

The improved security services, modern facilities and even more safety to the residents of Islamabad can be anticipated with upgraded police stations and a sense of community security.
