ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 20: The National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish enterprise have partnered to build a state-of-the-art 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad. The facility’s foundation was laid by Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi. It is anticipated that this project will revolutionize healthcare services for the public and police officers.
The hospital’s land was donated by the National Police Foundation (NPF), and the project would be financed by a private Turkiye company investing Rs. 5 billion.
According to Naqvi, this project is a huge step forward for the region’s healthcare infrastructure and a key turning point for the NPF, which has seen a rebirth under the direction of MD Sabir Ahmed.
The Minister stressed that the welfare of police officers and the families of martyrs are the recipients of the funds raised by this and other NPF projects.
Additionally, he stated that talks are now underway on the NPF and the Capital Development Authority’s plans to work together on future collaborative projects.
Naqvi continued, pointing out that the NPF’s work is not just focused on Islamabad and that a housing project in Hyderabad has been finished. He also emphasized the National Police Academy’s continuous renovation.
