A meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board Thursday decided to send a proposal to the Federal Government for approval to name the Service Road (East) in Sector F-10, Islamabad, after national athlete “Arshad Nadeem Road.”
The meeting also approved, in accordance with rules and regulations, the rental agreement with the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) for the use of the landfill site for Islamabad’s municipal solid waste management.
The meeting also approved an extension in the service period of the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) for transporting solid waste from Islamabad’s waste transfer stations (I-9, I-11 and any other sites) to the dumping site on Chak Beli Khan Road, Rawalpindi.
The CDA Board meeting approved the adoption of the rules and procedure for the upgradation of Statistical Assistant employees in Grade 15 and 16 of the Authority, in accordance with the Finance Division’s Office Memorandum dated 16.12.2019.
Chairman CDA while directing ensuring transparency and accountability in the implementation of all decisions, said that the construction and development of Islamabad, providing the best facilities to citizens, and beautification are among the top priorities of the CDA, and all available resources are being utilized for this purpose.
