Islamabad, Oct 29: Islamabad weather forecast Scattered thundershowers expected in capital city
The federal capital however experienced slight shower in the morning which lasted the whole day intermittently the day’s maximum temperature today was 28 degrees Celcius while the minimum night temperature expected is 23 degrees Celcius.
The humidity expected is at the level of 81% and wind speed is 14 km/h. Also, PMD as a weather forecasting service says that it will rain about 74 percent within the next few hours. The heavy rains may begin at night or late at night.
Floods are the main problem in Pakistan due to heavy rainfall, several people died due to floods, while infrastructure has also lost great asset, several trees fallen at many places, water has collected on the roads and entrance passageways and thus has affected traffic control.
Besides PMD, other meteorological units predict that heavy rains are probable in Islamabad, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Sargodha, Lahore, Karachi, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rahim Yar Khan; and may cause floodingser PMD forecasts, heavy rains are expected in Islamabad, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Sargodha, Lahore, Karachi, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Rahim Yar Khan, with the potential for flooding in D.G. Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur divisions.
The current monsoon spell may be expected to end on August 30, people living in the region are encouraged to carry an umbrella whenever they have to travel in the night and always check on the prevailing weather conditions.
