This morning, the U.S. Military informed the Trump Administration that Israel had launched an attack on Hamas militants located in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The strike, ordered by Prime Minister Netanyahu, was not coordinated with Washington and raised serious concerns due to Qatar being a close U.S. ally and an active partner in ongoing peace efforts.

President Donald Trump emphasized that while defeating Hamas remains an important goal, carrying out unilateral strikes inside Qatar does not align with U.S. or Israeli interests. He confirmed that Special Envoy Steve Witkoff alerted Qatari officials about the attack, but the notice came too late to prevent it.
