Israel Kills Palestinians: Israeli forces have killed at least 37 Palestinians in Gaza, including many who were trying to collect food aid, according to local health officials. Medics describe these aid points as “execution sites” in what critics call “human slaughterhouses.”
At least 13 starving Palestinians were killed near U.S. and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid stations in the Netzarim Corridor and Rafah’s al‑Mawasi area. In Rafah alone, around 10 more were killed and over 50 wounded as they attempted to get supplies. Two hospitals—al-Awda in central Gaza and the Red Cross Hospital in Rafah—treated dozens of injured civilians.

Medics at al‑Awda Hospital reported at least three people were shot by Israeli forces while rushing a GHF station near Netzarim. “The Israeli military did not warn the hungry crowds before opening fire on them,” Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum quoted witnesses saying. Ahmed al-Masri, who escaped empty-handed, described the scene as “a trap.”
More than a dozen additional Palestinians were killed in southern Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes, including seven in Beit Lahiya. On Saturday, 79 Palestinians died near aid sites, including 15 more near the Netzarim site.
Since GHF began distributing food in late May—following Israel’s partial end to a prolonged blockade—at least 274 people have been killed and over 2,000 wounded near its aid stations, the Gaza Health Ministry says. The U.N. criticizes the GHF system as dangerous and in violation of humanitarian standards.
Israel defends its actions, saying troops only fired at suspected threats when people deviated from safe routes. A spokesperson added that investigations are underway into the incidents
