Islamabad, July 10, 2025: Gandhara Industries has increased the prices of its Isuzu D-Max pickup truck by as much as Rs. 415,000, following the implementation of the New Excise Value (NEV) Levy under Pakistan’s 2025–26 federal financial plan. The updated rates became applicable from July 1, 2025.
Here’s a summary of the revised prices:
- D-Max Xterrain 3.0L: Raised by Rs. 415,000, from Rs. 12,975,000 to Rs. 13,390,000
- D-Max AutoPlus 1.9L: Raised by Rs. 290,000, from Rs. 10,500,000 to Rs. 10,790,000

This reflects the most recent surge in a chain of price adjustments throughout the automobile industry. Honda Atlas, Kia Lucky Motors, Pak Suzuki, Hyundai Nishat, and Changan have all adjusted prices upwards in recent weeks, citing the NEV Levy, rupee devaluation, and rising import and shipping charges.

Market analysts caution that the frequent price hikes could further weaken already slow sales. Vehicle manufacturers have appealed to the authorities to reassess the effects of new duties, warning that affordability is becoming a major issue for ordinary buyers.
