Islamabad, Jan 5: The Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, announced a new initiative aimed at empowering 200,000 youth each year with IT skills. This program is designed to help youth contribute to the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy.
Promoting Youth Creativity and Cultural Heritage
Minister Iqbal emphasized that the program will not only boost digital skills but also play a significant role in showcasing Pakistan’s art, culture, and heritage on the global stage. Through this initiative, the creativity of the country’s youth will be highlighted and promoted internationally.
Addressing Political and Security Challenges
In a separate conversation with the media, Iqbal commented on the ongoing political talks, stating that the government is committed to ensuring their success. He also addressed concerns over rising terrorism, attributing it to the PTI Government’s policies. He assured that the government would handle the terrorism threat effectively, citing the past success in combating it from 2013 to 2017.
Regarding Afghanistan, the Minister reaffirmed the Pak Army’s ability to respond decisively to any threat across the border.
