Islamabad/Lahore: Provincial government of Punjab is about to announce 3904 posts of the Police Department under Crime Control Department. The posts are approved by the provincial cabinet. 

Out of these to be announced posts 419 are of the Inspectors, 900 of constables, 900 foot detectives, 100 junior detectives, 423 sub-inspectors, 122 sub-detectives, 184 junior copter operators, 257 ASIs, and others.

On April 08, on the creation of new posts, the Punjab cabinet on its 24th meeting, approved the new hiring of police department.

In this regard, Finance Department agrees to create following 3,904 posts, along with the budget amounting to Rs. 964.80 Million ( Rs.161.800 Millions per month) for remaining period of two months and 20 days of the fiscal year 2024-25,

The advertisement and the details of the new recruitments will be soon available on the government advertisements.

Administrative department is advised to move audit copy after incorporating complete bifurcation of funds and correct head of accounts, DDO Code/Cost Centre, for authentication by the Finance Department.

Recruitment Process for Police
