Karachi: The city is experiencing partly cloudy skies and hot weather, according to the Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach 36°C, while the “feels-like” temperature may exceed 42°C during the day.
As of now, the actual temperature is 30°C, but it is being felt as 35°C due to high humidity levels, which are currently 74%.
Meanwhile, most parts of Balochistan remain hot and dry, with extreme heat forecasted in the southern districts. In cities like Sibi and Turbat, the sun is blazing at its peak, recording a sweltering 46°C.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted dust storms and strong winds in parts of Balochistan during the afternoon.
Today’s recorded temperatures across Balochistan include:
- Quetta: 34°C
- Kalat: 30°C
- Ziarat: 26°C
- Zhob and Chaman: 37°C
- Nokkundi: 43°C
- Gwadar: 38°C
- Jiwani: 36°C
Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight, and take necessary precautions.
