Islamabad, Jan 31: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced an extension for the submission of online forms for Class 10th examinations in both Science and General categories. The new deadline for submitting forms without any late fee is now February 10, 2025. This extension provides ample time for students to complete their registration and avoid additional charges.
Government schools, including those managed by KMC and the Labour Department, are also eligible to submit their forms within the same deadline, ensuring a seamless process for students in these institutions.
However, for those who miss the February 10 deadline, late fees will be applicable from February 11 to March 10, 2025. The late fee amounts will range from Rs. 500 to Rs. 2,500, depending on the duration of the delay. It’s important for students to be mindful of these deadlines to avoid unnecessary costs.

Private students, students who failed their 9th-grade exams in 2024 or earlier, and those wishing to improve their grades or take additional papers will need to visit affiliated banks such as NBP, Askari Commercial Bank, and UBL. Alternatively, designated booths at the board office will also be available for obtaining the necessary examination forms. This procedure ensures that all eligible students, regardless of their category, have easy access to the registration process.
BSEK’s flexible approach in allowing submissions without late fees until February 10, followed by a reasonable late fee structure, aims to accommodate the needs of both public and private school students. To ensure a smooth registration experience, students are encouraged to complete their online forms as early as possible and avoid last-minute rushes.
For further updates and information, students can visit the official BSEK website or contact the relevant authorities at the Board Office.
