Islamabad, Mar 13, 2025: The Karachi administration has implemented a strict “No Helmet, No Entry” rule on I.I. Chundrigar Road to enhance road safety and regulate traffic flow.
This initiative is designed to minimize accidents caused by negligent motorcycle riding.
To streamline traffic and ensure order, officials have placed delineators along the road.
Every day, thousands of motorcyclist’s commutes through this high-traffic area, often neglecting traffic regulations.

While larger vehicles generally adhere to lane discipline, motorcyclists frequently violate rules, leading to accidents, particularly during peak hours.
At present, the helmet mandate is exclusive to I.I. Chundrigar Road; however, authorities plan to extend this policy to other key roads across Karachi in the near future.
Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab emphasized that this measure is crucial to preventing fatal accidents
He further stated that helmet usage will soon be made compulsories for all motorcyclists traveling on major roads throughout the city.
