Islamabad, 13 April 2025: A breathtaking century by James Vince helped Karachi Kings launch their PSL 10 campaign with a stunning four-wicket victory over Multan Sultans.
Set a mammoth target of 235, the Kings pulled off the chase with four balls to spare, marking one of the most remarkable run-chases in PSL and T20 history.
Vince, who was later named Player of the Match, led the charge with a fiery 101 from just 43 deliveries, hitting 14 boundaries and clearing the ropes four times.
He built a game-changing 142-run stand with Khushdil Shah, who played a vital supporting role with 60 off 38 balls.

Both batters departed within moments of each other in the 19th over, leaving Karachi needing 14 runs from nine balls.
The tense finish was eventually settled by a composed effort from Irfan Khan and Abbas Afridi, who guided the side home with a crucial partnership in the final overs.
The match shattered several records.
It became the highest successful T20 run chase by a team that lost three wickets in the Powerplay.
The brilliant ton Vince was also the third-fastest in PSL history, while the 236-run chase ranked as the third highest in history of PSL.
Earlier, Multan Sultans posted an imposing total of 234/3 after being asked to bat first.

Skipper Mohammad Rizwan anchored the innings with an unbeaten 105 off 63 balls, hitting nine fours and five sixes.
He was well-supported by Kamran Ghulam (36 off 19) and Michael Bracewell, who smashed 44 not out from just 17 deliveries.
Karachi’s bowlers struggled to contain the flow of runs, with only Hasan Ali, Abbas Afridi, and Khushdil Shah managing a wicket each.
Despite the towering target, the Kings’ fearless batting display turned the contest on its head, delivering one of the most thrilling encounters in PSL history.
