Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday announced new projects to upgrade Karachi public transport. Speaking at a press conference, he said the city will soon see the launch of double-decker buses and electric vehicles (EVs) to provide citizens with a modern and eco-friendly travel option.

He further added that the provincial government will also introduce Pakistan first pink EV scooters for women. He said the major reason behind this move is to provide safe and affordable transport options for working women and students.
